How’s Your Health?

Greetings all, EatWisdom here! Because my studies have been so fixed on it recently, today I’d like to talk to you a little about life and death. So how is your health? Do your structures limp through their games, close to death? Can you get yourself out of a tight spot if your opponent comes crashing down on an isolated group and poses a difficult question? Or are you healthy enough to not miss out on a kill and keep yourself safe when the going gets rough?

Today’s focus: The trail through the valley of life and death: EatWisdom’s osusume. This will be a somewhat comprehensive book/ resource review, and I hope that you enjoy it. When I’m through briefly reviewing these texts, I’ll also give my two cents on how one might want to use/ combine them.

Welcome, Go Players!

Hello to all and welcome to the newest iteration of the OGPA website! Most of you know me as Nathan, but online and on this blog I go by BuddytheRat.

The new site now features nearly full integration with WordPress, which will allow anyone with permission to edit/add content on the fly with very little technical experience needed. On top of that, I’ve spruced up the look and feel a little for easier reading and a prettier design. Most importantly, though, is the addition of this blog.

Here we will post coming events, editorials, meeting summaries, Go instruction and much more. The possibilities are limitless! Members will be invited as authors if they think they have something to contribute, and hopefully this blog will become an amazing and useful resource for Go players all over the world.

Oh! And before I forget to mention: You can now keep up with club news and updates by signing up for the RSS feed found in the top right corner of this page. Thank you for checking out the site and please enjoy the blog!
